Brandon is finishing his 4th year of medical school after completing a PhD in the labs of Chris Deppmann and Ali Guler. His dissertation work focused on the roles of hypothalamic neurocircuits and neurotrophin receptors in regulating circadian aspects of feeding behavior and whole organism energy metabolism. Outside of the lab he enjoys hanging around the abundant restaurants, mountains, and wineries of Charlottesville with friends. He is planning to apply to internal medicine research residency programs.
