Gustavo Pacheco

Inside the lab, Gustavo is interested in understanding the role of mitochondrial dynamics in collective cell migration of the mesendoderm during Xenopus laevis gastrulation. Outside the lab, Gustavo enjoys spending time at home reading novels with his wife and orange piebald cat (Toulouse). They also love regularly checking out the restaurants and museums in Charlottesville, Richmond, and Washington DC.
