Sarah’s graduate work focuses on studying the molecular mechanisms of vessel co-option in melanoma brain metastasis. She also volunteers as a research advocate with the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation and serves as a member on the Clinical Effectiveness and Decision Science advisory panel with the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). Personally, she enjoys indoor bouldering, playing other intermural team sports (soccer, basketball, sand volleyball), crafting, and exploring the food/drink scene around Charlottesville.
