Isaiah is a first-year MSTP student from Marietta, Georgia. He studied neuroscience at UT-Dallas and played baseball for the Comets before graduating in May of 2020 and moving to Nashville for a research assistantship. Outside of class, Isaiah spends his time sampling the local eateries with friends, lifting, and making music.

Scientific areas of interest: Neuroimmunology, particularly as it relates to the role of intercellular communication in disease processes
What’s one thing you love about Charlottesville? From the people to the vineyards and breweries to the nature walks, Charlottesville has really exceeded my expectations. I really can’t imagine myself living anywhere else during my MD-PhD years.
